Options

Options menu, here you can set some of the properties of playlist editor

Check playback duration automatically

If this option is checked then when you are adding files from disk software will check and include file duration data into a playlist.

If unchecked then instead of file duration 00:00:00 will be included to a playlist

We have created this option as optional to use, by unchecking this option you can speed up the process of adding many files.
Checking out the file duration time, especially of video files take some time

Create simple M3U file

The most popular playlist types M3U can be created in two ways,

1.Extended playlist
This type includes file duration info, file title an file path
2.Simple playlist
This type just include paths to media files

Use relative file path

When you are adding media files from disk to playlist then software can configure files paths as

Absolute Paths

Example:
C:\My Documents\My Music\Band\Band - Song.mp3

Path to a file include drive letter, folders and file name. It points directly to a file on local disk where file is located.

This is the default Sprintbit Playlist Manager option and behaviour. Use it if you are intending to create playlist for local files

Relative Paths

Example:
My Music\Band\Band - Song.mp3

Path to a file DOES include drive letter and may not include some folders. It does include folder or folders and a file name.

Use it if you are intending to create playlist for portable players that require a playlist with relative paths.
However this option also can be used with local files as well.

Show properties window

If this option is checked then a window with playlist properties is visible on the right side of the editor's window

Update Playback Time

Checks the media files playback duration and updates the duration information if is missing.
